NATUNA is a line of products dedicated to tuna. Caught in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, it is immediately frozen and preserved at very low temperatures; then selected and defrosted in Italy and then packaged in a protective atmosphere.
It was born from the desire to offer completely natural products that respect the criteria of responsible fishing. The products are selected from controlled supply chains, to guarantee maximum safety for consumers.
Highly specialized fishing vessels employ selective fishing practices using hooks and lines, or purse seines .
The fish, transferred on board with extreme care to avoid damage and swelling, is gutted and frozen promptly. In order to constantly monitor the quality of the product, analyses are carried out at various stages, to protect against microbiological risks and the presence of histamine.
The products of the NATUNA line are compliant with the legislation that requires the preventive freezing of fish intended for raw consumption; they are therefore the perfect solution for the preparation of carpaccio, tartare, ceviche, sushi and sashimi, as well as in infinite variations of gourmet preparations.
